We stopped off at the famous Smash Palace Auto Wreckers this place has existed in the same spot since the 1940s Famous for some great classic New Zealand movies such as Smash Palace Goodbye Pork Pie and Hunt for the Wilderpeople. This colourful and retro-inspired cottage with mountain views is the perfect escape for a group looking for their next mountain retreat. We went up there at the end of July.
